At least I get a good sense usually when people do like me, and want to be friends, despite my quirks. It is just that some people send mixed signals sometimes, and that can be confusing to me. Maybe this is an indication of an aquaintence vs a real friend?
I admit I have my faults, and to some may be weird, but I can be a really loving and loyal person given the chance. I appreciate how people I only know online can restore my faith, yet it seems strange how people locally start the questioning.
My first question is: What got you to wondering that? And what do you mean they "pretend to because of obligation"? Like, they can't get away from you in social circles so they make with the nicey mask to avoid any personal discomfort? There are always going to be people out there who don't like you and make no bones about it or don't like you and just pretend to. Hell, I can readily think of two or three people at work alone who do that to me. It's just part of the game - an unfortunate part. The important part is that YOU really like you. Even the fact that I like (well, LOVE) you and your man loves you is secondary to that.
Don't let the crappy folks get you down, dude! : )
Oh, and I have been running ALL WEEKEND (with Carrie's wedding in Cocoa, which pretty much covered the entire day, and a Pampered Chef show and dance practice and premarital counseling which turned into more of a planning session and we finally got to see Robots.)
Sorry I wasn't able to call you back. I do have your stuff, though and would be happy to get that to you sometime this week!
Oh sure- I would be happy to discuss! You get a discount on the marriage license if you do a counseling program and it was something we wanted to do. Plus, they waive the waiting period for the license.
We are doing 2 programs- one online course that was way cool (read: NOT cheesy) and one with Rev Powers, who will be marrying us- his is only 3 sessions and required by the chapel. The online one is a pick-and-choose activity program and you do it at your leisure. They will also send you a certificate for completing it that gets you the discount.
That is not true! You are a very good person w/a very big heart. Sorry I have not been around. I have been having alot of shit going on in my life. I know that is no excuse just hard to have time for anything else. Read my journal and you will know what I am talking about. Not only the shit w/Xander but also the construction that is going on at my aprtment complex. All I can say is I am sorry.
