Another one bites the dust...

"Migraines suck ass!" I thought earlier as I saw unconsciousness rushing toward me. "No time for the vibrator now."

The short, short version:

Migraine this morning. No meds til after drug screening. Took Maxalt for it after. Ate at Perkins. Chas did a few errands on the way home. Legs like jelly. Passed out from about 1:30pm til just now. Slept all day. Hooray. Brain functioning returning slowly. Have legs though. Jeebus!

Need food now.

I like your icon. Boreas is amazing. Waterhouse's work, in general, is amazing. I like the touch the stars give to it. (:

Thanks. I love all Waterhouse stuff...it is so amazing. This icon is from a friend, so I don't know where she got it or who did the stars, but I like them. Only there is a misplaced one by her head. Ihave others in my user pics you can look at/take so long as credit goes with it if listed.

Heh. I did look at your userinfo, actually. I love Waterhouse. I made tons of Waterhouse icons, at one time. I use five for my userinfo at DeadJournal. I, honestly, cannot get enough of him.

I actually use the Boreas painting for my layout.

"Migraines suck ass!"

Pretty much :( I hope you're feeling better!

Hahahaha. "Migraines suck ass, no time for the vibrator." That's happy!

Glad the migraine seems to be passing. I've found that sleep is the only thing that makes them go away.

Cool. I love the feels tired one from After the Dance, which is one of my favorites. I am looking for more Waterhouse icons, but it seems so hard to find ones that don't have writing or something done to them to destroy their natural beauty. I have a few that are altered, though I was very picky when choosing them, as the alterations seemed to enhance the painting, or at least did not ruin it.

Well, that was the censored version of what I really thought. I can't believe how the Maxalt kicked the shit out of me. As a result of sleeping all day, I am up now, trying to get tired enough to go to sleep again, so I can wake up at a decent hour tomorrow.

I still have some saved. You can go there, type "boogy" in the password slot, and go to the "icons" folder. The Waterhouse ones start on the third page. The other ones are Morisot, I believe. I don't remember who else I featured in that folder. I can't find the other icons I saved unfortunately, however. I think they are in a separate folder.

Anyway, I would be happy to make more Waterhouse icons, if you have any specific requests.

The Maxalt sure let me sleep. All damn day, which is why I am up at 3am. The vibrator thing...odd as it may seem, I sometimes get horny with a migraine and feel that using it helps me get to sleep faster, and the good feelings I get help me feel a little bit better temporarily.

Thanks, I might grab a few later. I should be asleep now, but the medicine made me sleep all day, thus, I am awake. :(

did the maxalt work though?

After about half an hour, I got the same feeling I did with the Imitrex...this weird feeling in my head and throat...it kinda hurt to swallow. It did help with the nausea, but the food probably helped as well. The headache began declining while we were out and was pretty much gone by the time we got home which was probably an hour to an ahour and a half. Only I was so drowsy.
I couldn't walk straight, or think straight. All I wanted to do was lie down and let the wave of unconsciousness drown me. Only I didn't expect to be asleep for 7 hours afterward. SO...yes it helped, but I still lost a day. And I had another headache when I got up, and had some Excesrin instead. Am going to try going back to bed again now.
