My birth mom lived in Beaverton for a handful of years in the late 80's to mid 90's if I recall correctly. :) I have some pretty good memories of Portland and surrounding areas from when I would visit her. It's too bad our stop there on the way here was so short. And rainy. A friend is having their birthday in Portland this yea, so maybe if work lets me, I can take the time to go back. I haven't seen Multnomah Falls or Crown Point in ages, and I would love to visit the coast again. I'd love to show hubby things I remember.

We lived in Maitland, and my mom still lives in Altamonte. :)
