Grrr...

I really hate commercials sometimes. They drive me batty! Maybe the country is stupider than I thought but, but people, come on and have some common frickin' sense. I recently saw an ad for Ambien, a prescription sleep aid. In the part of the commercial where they mention *possible* side effects, they mention that it might cause drowsiness. Gee, imagine that? A sleep drug that makes me drowsy. Who'da thunk it? Well, I'd hope it would make me go to sleep if I am paying big bucks for a SLEEP aid.

Ok, rant is over. Until the next stupid ad comes my way that pisses me off. Maybe I'll break down the "duck, duck, goose" one later.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes we come across ads (not only on TV put also paper ads) that are almost an insult to our intelligence. But what can we do? I choose to be stress-free, so I prefer not to be bothered! LOL

I try to be stress free and not let it bother me too much also, but on the other hand, I just can't ignore it either. If I ignore it, more and more dumb ads will surface. I like to try and educate people to use critcal thinking skills when watching ads or tv and movies with the *hope* that someday there will be enough *smart* people to do something and make a difference. These marketing people play to the dumb audiences who can't think for themselves and I think it is really sad. I'm not an elitist or claim to be perfect, but I do want to help my community when I can.
