Dark Haired Lovely.

Mmmm. I like the sound of that. My plans fell through with my friend to redye my hair over the weekend, though I totally understand the circumstances so it's alright. So I braved myself up last night and did it on my own, and I honestly think it came out ok, though a tad more red/golden than I had wanted. But I got the dye from a limited selection of colors on sale from Target, so what can I do? Plus, it is likely to fade a bit after a few washes. I love the feel of my hair after it has been dyed. :)

I sometimes think that I am a bit strange (ok, well I know that I am strange! ;>), in that I am naturally blonde, but choose to darken my hair. They always say that blondes have more fun, but I never felt that way. Anyhow, I have my reasons, and many people seem to like it darker (like my Glitter Girl), though there is a little bit of red in there for those that miss my old red hair (like my huggy bear). I think that this darker hair color expresses who I am the best...mostly conservative with the light brown color and a little bit of a wild side with the reddish gold tint/highlights. I like it a lot. I feel good about myself too.

Well, I think I am over this vain little hair rant for now. :)

My natrual blonde is kinda medium ash. It just looks muddy and ugly, though it used to be lighter and more golden. My parents don't understand this. They want their pretty little blonde baby back. Truth is, even if I dyed it that color again, it wouldn't look the same on me now that I've grown up. :)

My natural haircolor is dirty blonde, almost a brunette color.
My parents don't like it either, but I look much better with black hair. hehe

Yeah, my brother suggested I ask my dad to dye it, since he used to dye it for my (step) mom before she lost all her hair. I just thought the idea of my dad dying my hair a shade he wasn't that fond of, when he really wanted me baby blonde, was a little disturbing. Truth be told, his hair is darker than my natural shade (and so is my biological mom's) so I really had no issues going darker since I am a product of their genes. :)
