I love my mom so much.

A little back story may be necessary, so let me begin. Not too long ago, [livejournal.com profile] being_homeless made this post about [livejournal.com profile] i_wont_give_up, a 23 year old girl with breast cancer. I immediately added her, and at the same time I also forwarded the information to my mom about her. She immediately wanted to know how to contact her. Since my mom is not on LJ, she has been emailing her instead, and sharing information about her experiences and things, even though there is an age gap. Today, I read this post and it made me so happy I started getting teary eyed and stuff. My mom is the best mom in the world!! She makes me so proud to be her daughter. Oh yeah, did I mention she got a new job? Yeah, and she absolutely loves it. She is working in mental health facility for youths, as a clinical liaison of sorts, and doing lots of little things. And they seem to be cool with her cancer and stuff. I haven't seen my mom this happy and healthy in a long time.

Well, that's all for now.

:)

It is really nice. Good karma for me for sending my mom her info I guess. I don't know all that they discuss, and that is fine with me, but when I see my mom, she always thanks me for what I did. My mom has degrees in psychology and sociology, and with the experiences she has gone through with breast cancer herself, I thought she would be a good person to talk to. I figured, all my mom had to do to get on her level was to think about me, and how it would be affecting me. It must've worked.
