Hurricane Charley: The short of it.

The long comes later when I am at home and have more time to write the details. But the basics. I am typing this from my parent's house since they have power. We have officially had no power for over 24 hours now, and they say it may be 3-5 days. The Winter Park Village shopping center has power, and they are within walking distance, but not us.

Lots of down lines, trees, signs, and other debris. Other than no power, we are ok, and will get through this together.

Glad everything's ok with you, as well. I ended up driving to Orlando since it was initially headed to Gainesville, and fiancee's apartment has no power and little water. They were saying Friday for power. We packed up and went back to Gainesville upon hearing that.
