(no subject)

I made fudge toffee brownies tonight, but they don't taste very toffee-like. Still, they are moist and yummy. But I gotta go to bed now so I can't have anymore now.

I know it wasn't today...

...but it still saddens me to learn that Gregory Hines died over the weekend, especially at his age. I wonder what kind of cancer he had, how long he had had it, and what kind, if any, treatment he went through. Maybe I will find an article that will answer my questions. He was one of the few left of a dying breed of classic entertainer. He entertained many by his dancing, his acting and his singing...all of which he excelled at. While no one has mentioned it yet, I think he was particularly brilliant in Mel Brooks' "History of the World: Part 1," as well as his other roles.
