Whew! It was only an hour and a half...feels like forever!!

So, I went to visit [livejournal.com profile] shyystarr tonight; it was her oldest daughter Haley's birthday. It was a small gathering, just us in fact. Cameron immediately started raiding the girls' things to give me presents while mom helped put together a "Hamtauro House" with Haley...not sure I spelled that right. Then Cameron wanted to play dinosaurs with me and "my friend" (aka Chas)...he's such a cutie. :) Haley opened her presents from us, and after that, we put on the They Might Be Giants mix compilation cd that I made for her into the stereo to listen to, and began to dance the night away!!! Mackenna can really move!!! :) After dancing, spinning them around, holding them upside down, and having them climb to the top of Mount Heather (and eventually conquering her), we all collapsed in a fit of lost energy...only *I* didn't get mine back. Oh to be young, innocent, and full of energy. Sigh...

Anyhow, I had a great time, even if I am wiped out now. Thank you for inviting us and the picture of Haley and Hannah!

much love

Those kids are lucky to have their Auntie Heather in their life! :)
