Fire and smoke update...

This is my exit in the picture. I live about 5 minutes away from where this was taken. Looks like dense fog, but it is not in the slightest! It is like standing in an enclosed room with lots of people cooking on charcoal grills. The smoke does have a tendency to come and go in patches, so it is better at times than others. With the threat of Sub-Tropical Storm Andrea, it could prove to be worse in the next few weeks. I really hate this smoke.

I read that there are 230 wild fires in the state as of today's count. I just can't fathom that many wildfires. Seems like half the state is on fire.

My cell camera did not really capture it well...seeing the smoke particles hanging in the air. It is awful. I really hope it ends soon.

We had a bushfire in victoria during summer. lots of people lost their homes. awful.

Trying to, but it is hard. Especially at work because I quite enjoy my lunch outside, and walking the parking lot. I got a bit stir crazy yesterday feeling trapped inside all day. My job used to be just to the left of that sign...that was the old building. The new building is a few minutes away from there. My head is not handling it all very well, and on naproxen for my ankle and it is hard to remedy because I am limited to what I can take for it. Argh. Suxor.

The last three are mine. I had only taken the first pic...if you se the stop sign in the first pic, it was across the road as I was stepping up onto the sidewalk...the sidewalk I took the 2nd pic from. I had the cell in my hand when I tripped, so it hit the concrete when I did. Both of us are ok though. But yesterday...just a bad day.
