*chuckles*

This is bullocks.
Pope John Paul George and Ringo.
Bib-lee.
That's Vampirism and Cannibalism.
The Stoned Olympics.
The Deathstar Canteen.

Just a few random bits from our favorite transvestite comedian. Can't remember all the good lines now, but we own the DVD now so we can watch it again, as often as we like. (I don't think they get it yet. That's ok. They will soon enough. Tee hee.)

Do you have the video for Circle?

Yes. We got the DVD for Circle yesterday.

Are there any extras on it?

Yes, but as I am at work, and not home, I don't know them off the top of my head.

Eddie Izzard

Popeman!
And ... Alter Boy! :)

Certainly the novelty of DRESS TO KILL has worn off, but it's difficult to say if CIRCLE is better or worse than EI's previous efforts. I didn't find myself laughing as hard, but I still enjoyed it very much. I *do* think, though, that Eddie's "wandering" approach wandered maybe a bit TOO far off-path a bit TOO often this time out.

To answer Hannibal's query, yes there are extras: alternate languages, a very cool (and educational!) "trivia track," commentaries, some kind of weblink (bah!), a photo gallery and a couple of documentaries. Annoyingly, one of them is "Dress to Circle," the *exact same* video of EI doing his "Dress to Kill" material in French that was on the "Dress to Kill" DVD. How stupid is that??

Worth the $20, definitely (though you can have it for $14 at deepdiscountdvd.com) -- but if you're only ever going to buy ONE Eddie DVD, make it DRESS TO KILL.

Thank you, Chas, for being my eyes at home. Love you.
