work angst

So, at work they have decided to give the me (and a few others) the title of "Peer Coach" because I am good at my job and have been there a LONG time...and all I get are some stupid, plastic gold coins that I can redeem for junk in HR. Has this company ever thought of rewarding people (aside from raises) with real money? The kind that can pay bills, etc? Probably not as it probably isn't in their "How To Reward Your Employees Without Actually Giving Them Money" handbook after criminally underpaying us to start with. Grrr...

I think I still have knots in my hair from driving 70+ mph with you yesterday, on the interstate, with the windows down. Thought I'd gotten them all out. Darn these tresses!! :)
