11 January 2005 22:01I just made rice pudding. No recipe, just some basic knowledge of its components, and how to make them. I used the leftover rice from my stir fry Saturday, not sure how much, but I guess a couple cups? I took an egg yolk, no white, mixed in some sugar and add milk to make the custard. Added cinnamon plus seasoning. Just eyeballed it. Nuked in my micro cooker on medium power for 5 minutes, as I did not want to egg to cook and separate. Put it on high for a few more minutes, and added a little more milk to thin it out, It was fine just out of the microwave but thickened too much as it cooled. Anyhow, it is tasty, and I am proud of myself. :)
