Last night I participated in history in the making. Our local college radio station is having a pledge drive, but not any ordinary pledge drive. Dave Plotkin, a dj at the station, is attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Records by staying on the air for 110 hours straight. Last night I was record taker for a few hours (because there are strict timing rules). It started Monday morning, but actually, as of almost an hour ago, he tied the world record of 105 hours. Now, the whole broadcast has to be nitpicked by Guinness for it to be "official" as there were a number of rules to follow, but for the time being, he broke it. :)

(BTW, they had raised over $5000 for the studio as of last night. The funds are going to help the station update and allow a streaming access via www)
