Update on Lake Chasnheather.

Maintenance did come, though once the water had stopped dripping from upstairs, there was not much more they could do in the dark. We were allowed to keep the power on while we slept, despite the crackling in the circuit breaker box from the water. I did not sleep well for the next few hours, still edgy from being up earlier. We had thought to ourselves how lucky we were when this happened, as we had moved stuff around the previous afternoon to sell our hutch to a friend. It, and other valuable stuff, would have been damaged by the pearly drips of water in the dining room. Then we might not have been able to sell the hutch. Anyhow, the professional cleaner guys came around 10am, and used the water extractor thing, but left big fat noisy fans to dry the rest of the water from the carpets. They're still damp and starting to smell. They also turned the power off to fix the circuit breaker box again. While this has been going on, the water also damaged the frame to the front door, making it excessively difficult to open and close as well as lock. They are still working on that and the carpet guy will be back to deodorize the carpets. And our fridge is out too, though the freezer is working, but that is a different issue, and they are working on it now, along with the door. My apartment is full of people working on things.

it's so not fair that I have Friday off but nobody wants to do anything :-(. I'll just sit home alone and eat.

Hey and know what? yesterday at work I got in a huge fight with warzau_kitten.

I am so pissed off! someone at work found out I was into goth and I think that's why I got fired :-(.

What sucks is that I am so going to kick mice out of the house. They wore my favorite anime shirt when alryssa and estokes was visiting. I've never been so embarassed in my life!

Oh and I am so going to kick michael_winner out of the house. They got totally drunk Friday and hurled all over the carpet!
