Shopping yesterday

I got a message on my cell when I woke up yesterday from a friend who was in town from South Florida for the day, asking if I wanted to go to the outlet malls with her. I did have other plans, and I feel bad about missing them, but this friend doesn't come up that often, and when she does, it is usually last minute, so I did try to reschedule the get together with my friend here for later in the day. I did not actually think I would get anything as many of the outlets still had way overpriced things, but I did get a pair of gloves from Wilson's Leather for $20. They have Thinsulate in them, with a fleece lining too. Compared to the gloves I had on the trip, these were nowhere near as bulky, and still were insulated. Only thing they don't have that my bulky ones have is a little clip thing to keep them together, but I think I can achieve something similar with the velcro closure, or I can improvize something if I need to. I also got a pair of sunglasses. I've gone through many years without sunglasses because they have always looked too big on me or too small, or just goofy, but the ones I got yesterday at the Fossil outlet were pretty decent. I got a 3 out of 3 people that liked them on me. So for $15 I got them.
