I made it here...
4 August 2006 19:57Had about 3 hours of sleep, maybe, and headed to the airport at 4am. Got there in plenty of time. Was able to chat with a young couple on their way back to Victoria, BC. Oh, how my heart leapt. But it was early, and they probably didn't want to talk to a crazy American as obsessed over the city as I am (I still carry the downtown map we got from the hotel in my purse, from February) struggling to stay awake at 5am, so I let them go on their way. The plane from Atlanta to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was a puddle jumper and was smelly, but I met a nice girl, only a few years older than me, and we got along well. We have the same return flight to Atlanta too! :)
Rochelle, my brother's girlfriend, picked me up and we all met at Wegman's for lunch and a few groceries and then we came home, and took Luzy, their new 2 month old kitten for a check up as she has a minor respiratory infection which seems quite common among cats in shelters. Played with her a bit and thenhad a small nap, and soon we will head out to dinner for a local specialty, and perhaps the 200th birthday anniversary of te city celebration and/or a movie later.

PS Pictures are being taken. I have a few of Luzy, but you can see her here. Her name is spelled with a "z" because they live in Luzerne County, and used that to come up with the name. She is so freaking cute!
