I forgot to mention that I ordered my new cell phone today. It is the Nokia 3220...the one I wrote about many months ago. I am getting it, and a new SIM card, for $90 plus tax (free shipping), and it should arrive in time for my birthday in just over a week. Yay! Happy birthday to me. This was the lowest price I have been officially offered, and the addition of the SIM card makes this a better deal as they usually cost about $30 by themselves, and the phone sells for $100 or more on ebay.

I've got that one now. Quite happy with it except that that scroll button is a little bit awkward. When you want to press it in the centre to make it function as an "Enter" you have to be careful that you do it just right, otherwise it scrolls instead. You get used to that, though. I've grown quite fond of the lights and the customisable housing, and the camera's pictures aren't bad for a camera phone.

If I'd realised you were looking at this one, I'd have given you the review before! Oh well. Hope you enjoy it!

I have been doing lots of Heather research on phones the last few months when I saw the 3120, and up until a former friend got the 6230, which had that middle push button, I was going to get the 3120. Then I saw the 3220 had, decided to research it and see it. I played with a working demo of it, and for me, the scroll was just perfect...maybe because I have tiny fingers or something. Maybe if I am in a hurry there will be a problem. That center push option is what sold me on this phone, as my current phone has that one touch for everything navi-key. I could really care less about the camera or lights right now, though I like that the lights can be turned on or off. I will probably have them on for a silent or discreet ring only to conserve the battery. I have a few ideas about the customisable housing. We'll have to see.

Glad that you like it. Makes me feel better about my choice. I was concerned that it was too teeny bopperish for a while, until I saw other views with the black housing and the grey back cover. I hope I will like mine as well. It will be interesting gettng all my stuff off my old SIM and onto my new one.
