This is one of my favorite songs..it is a bit folky-rocky, in that Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks kind of way, in my opinion (though I don't know enough of FM/SN to say so definitively). Not the sort of thing I listen to ALL the time or anything, but yeah, I really like it. Chas actually put this on a cd he made me. And it is something other than Tubular Bells!
Taken from Mike Oldfield's Performance in Berlin. Art in Heaven concert 31st of December 2000. This version is with our friend*, Miriam Stockley (of Adiemus) on vocals as opposed to Maggie Reilly who is the original vocalist (Mike Oldfield's wife). She said it was 1 degree above freezing when they were performing this.
*I say friend, but I mean more that she and her husband are clients of Chas for computer stuff. So, yeah, we know her in person, but maybe not enough to call her a friend??
The title track from Adiemus, which is on the Pure Moods disc, so it should be familiar if you have that. Miriam is the blonde, if you couldn't tell from the other video with her.
