Fire and smoke update...

This is my exit in the picture. I live about 5 minutes away from where this was taken. Looks like dense fog, but it is not in the slightest! It is like standing in an enclosed room with lots of people cooking on charcoal grills. The smoke does have a tendency to come and go in patches, so it is better at times than others. With the threat of Sub-Tropical Storm Andrea, it could prove to be worse in the next few weeks. I really hate this smoke.

"A blanket of smoke hangs over Interstate 4, approaching Lee Road west of Maitland today. Fires burning in parts of Lake and Volusia left have layers of smoke and ash in the skies across Central Florida."

I read that there are 230 wild fires in the state as of today's count. I just can't fathom that many wildfires. Seems like half the state is on fire.

Just outside my complex, on the way to the bus stop.

View from the bus stop.

Off the bus and on the way in to work. You can sorta see the white sign on the right for my entrance.
