Which is really f-ed up... I have many friends who are actually Republicans (dad is one of 'em). As long as we don't get into the politics realm things go smoothly. I remember in high school a Repub friend of mine asked incredulously why I don't like the Republican party. I replied: "Since we don't have all day for me to outline the plethora of reasons why I don't like them, I'll share my #1 reason: THEY ARE PRO-LIFE!" She says "So join the Republican party and try to change that! You DO know that there are groups of pro-choice Repubs, right?" and I'm thinking "OOOO Yeah! Let me single handedly change the entire Repub party! And then stab my beliefs in the back by allying with a group who stands against one of the primary things I believe in! What FUN!" (sighhh)
