I should have never gone in to work today. I should have just listened to the rain outside and the pounding inside my head, taken the signs as they were delivered, and pulled the covers back over my head and gone back to sleep. But I didn't. Sigh...

And now that I am home again, I do not have the love of my life here to hold me or to comfort me and make me feel better however best possible. I don't know how long he will be gone, but I sure wish he'd hurry up and get home. Until then...
