Wuh?

So, this guy I work with caught me in the hall this morning to tell me how my dress yesterday was a hit with him and presumably others that saw me, and how they meant to tell me yesterday. Huh? I mean, the dress in question is probably the "bummiest" dress I have, though admittedly a few of my LA posse liked the dress when they saw it a few years ago so maybe it isn't really that bad. It is a hand me down that got messed up in a good way I suppose, by a color bleed in the wash one day, and the material is really funky. Plus, it is a size 8 and I typically wear a size 2 or 4. But the largeness is really only noticeable under my arms, and I don't go parading around with my arm up all day. It is one of those dresses I feel would be thrown out if I end up on "What Not To Wear" for a fashion makeover! Anyhow, I decided at the last minute to wear it. I don't normally wear dresses here, because it is so frigid in here, but I figured I had a spare sweater and blanket in my trunk that I could use, and that hopefully that would be enough.

Maybe the dress is not as bad as I think it is as people obviously like it, or at least like me in it. Perhaps, I should consider getting it altered on the sides to fit a little better. Maybe I would feel better about wearing it. Maybe I should consider trying to wear more dresses to work as long as I have a sweater and blanket! :)
