Bugger.

Although I *thought* everything was peachy with my trip to Vancouver (and Victoria) and Los Angeles for next month, I was wrong. Really wrong. I was *told* by the girl in scheduling at work that if I did not have enough paid time off, I could request a leave of absence, and that would make up for the days I needed that I could not get paid. I was told this by a girl who is no longer doing that job. So now they cannot approve a LOA for me and I don't have enough vacation time, so the bottom line is that we can't go to Vancouver. But we will be going to LA for the convention as usual, and the time is pretty much approved. I guess that is ok, so now I don't have to freak out about what to wear, at least for now. But thing is, this trip was going to be cheaper than the cost of a round trip to Vancouver alone. The peak season will start soon, and weather-wise will be better for me, but the rates for everything will be higher. But maybe it it is for the best.

I actually haven't listened to it in years honestly. When you have 1500+ cds, some get overlooked from time to time.
