...here are two more:
1. Canada approves the sale of Plan B emergency contraception without a prescription.
2. Canada approves the sale of Sativex, a cannabis derived pharmaceutical drug, used to treat MS and other medical problems.
Oh yeah, and it is 61F/16C in Vancouver right now, and here in Maitland it is 82F/28C. (Yes, I noticed the number reversal too...totally by coincidence!) It was starting to get really uncomfortable earlier, when it was a little hotter than it is now. And we haven't even started summer much yet.

Date: 1 May 2005 15:46 (UTC)The thing with Sativex is that is more legal now than it semed "tolerated" before (at least in my opinion from what I understand), and now the government has a way to keep things in check with it. Plus, a liquid is probably better than smoking it healthwise.
