I just got word that my new cd player for my car* has been ordered, and will be shipped to me...I should get it by the middle of next week. Joy! Happiness! Ecstasy! This will be a wonderful early birthday present. Many heartfelt thanks go to the special person who ordered it for me, who probably has no idea how happy this is making me, because words alone cannot express how happy I am feeling. Thank you!!!

*note: this is only the one I think it is based on the description (brand and features) I was given over the phone by that very special person

So, in anticipation of getting my new cd player, I have just made 2 cds, well the playlists anyways. The first is an mp3 cd (with 102 songs on it), which is supposed to play in it. The second is an "oldies" cd, and by that I mean it contains songs that are (mostly) older than I am.

Ok, so it's not delivery; it's DiGiorno. I just wanted to say that. Ok, I am gonna eat.

And yes, I have messed with the "oldies" playlist, but for the better. I "shuffled" it a few more times to distribute everything a little better, and I think this set will work. Now I just gotta come up with a clever and catchy name and label for my little compilation.

In listening to my various playlist arrangements, I hear She Comes In Colours by The Rolling Stones which [livejournal.com profile] octophonic gave me a few summers ago. At that time, he told me that he couldn't listen to it without hearing a buzzing sound in the background. I understood what he meant. Here's why. Chas and I shared this with him before then.
