Happy Tummy!
17 October 2003 22:49Just got back from dinner at a new Polish restaurant in the area (near you
glittergrrl69). There is also a great Hungarian restaurant not too far away as well. When I saw the coupon in the mail, my Polish roots screamed to me to get me in there. So we went. The prices were quite reasonable, and the food was excellent. Chas had goulash with potato dumplings, and a cucumber and tomato salad on the side. I had a breaded and fried chicken cutlet (pretty much like schnitzel) with garlic and parsley butter, kasha (buckwheat), and I also had the cucumber and tomato salad. Next time I will have something with sauerkraut in it
vogelscheuche. :) Despite being full, we still squeezed in apple streudel with vanilla ice cream for desert. Yum, yum, yum. Our only complaint was the lighting in the place. It was too bright with the flourescent lights for an evening situation. We will definitely be back though.
