Coffee info.
23 March 2004 00:19You know who you are. So here it is. The coffee I had today, which we talked about is Sulawesi Kalossi. The description from the website says this:
I must not have a sensitive enough palate for coffee as coffee generally tastes like...well coffee. Like wine all tastes much the same to me too; I can neither taste the the subtle flavors in the coffee nor in wine. But it was not bad...I just had to season it to my taste with (what you would feel is) horrendous amounts of sugar and a tad of milk (soy milk in this case). I suppose it was better than some I have had. But all in all it tasted like normal coffee to me.
This very full bodied coffee comes from the exotic island of Sulawesi (formerly Celebes) in Indonesia. It has a syrupy body, sweet buttery characteristics followed by spicy aftertaste and aroma. The perfect coffee for the Barnies Coffee drinker.
