Oh god I'm craving Cuban food right now. Black beans, Spanish rice, chourizo, and plantains to name a few things. Oh, and Materva (mate beer). Maybe this weekend?
That just sounds waaaay good!!! Yummy!!! I don't think we have a Cuban restaurant very close here. Would have to go into the City (San Francisco)- that's a good 2hrs away. But I should keep in mind next time I'm that way! Hope you get to have some this weekend! :-)
Stop at the grocery store and check out the frozen section...most carry Goya frozen meals. Also the international aisle probably has a fair bit of Spanish/Latin food, or things yo can use to create your own meals. This may not be the best Cuban food, but it is a start.
