17 October 2005 03:19I am so happy that it is :finally: cooling off outside. Soon I will get to wear my sweaters and Old Navy Performance Fleece...I love that stuff! And I of course I can't wait til I can wear my wool pea coat. I don't want it to get too cold of course. :)
It reminds me of a time when Chas and I went to the First Thursday event a while back when our friend Doug did a glow stick paperbag mushroom installation. It was a nice brisk evening out. Here is a picture of the installation. This is one of many he does around town.

More are available here.

Date: 17 Oct 2005 15:46 (UTC)PS. He always does his mobile installations at this bookstore in Thornton Park, the name of which escapes me, because of the high ceiling, and Stardust for other things. I can try to let you know the next time he is doing a show if you like.

Date: 17 Oct 2005 19:28 (UTC)Didn't even know about paper bag mushrooms until one day not too long ago, I was driving down Lk. Underhill towards Conway and all these mushrooms were all over the place near the side of the road. It took me a couple days to realize they weren't real. Those mushrooms f*cked with my mind kinda hard for a while there, but in a good way. :)
