My parents are stuck out at sea...somewhere between Aruba and San Juan. We don't know what the problem is yet, or when they'll be able to return. It is possible that their return tickets are invalid now too. :(

Subject: HELP - we're stranded at sea!
Hello all,
We are literally stuck somewhere between Aruba and San Juan. Now they are telling us that we may not dock until Monday. They say that our airline tickets are now worthless. They say that the only airline arrangements Carnival is making are for those who booked their air travel with Carnival.
Coty - did you book directly with American or did you do it through Carnival? Please try to contact Carnival and see what you can find out - they are telling us many different stories each time they make an announcement. You may get further.
Elsa - please try to contact Coty and Carnival to see what you can find out. Please also call Judi 407-xxx-xxxx to let her know to check this email and make some calls for me. Leave a message for her on her cell, and if you don't reach her, please leave a message for her at home 407-xxx-xxxx. Thanks.
Judi - please call April Hudson on her cell at 407-xxx-xxxx. Tell her you are my sister (sometimes she doesn't answer if she doesn't recognize the number) and what's going on. Also call my classroom at 407-xxx-xxxx and leave a message for her there too. Tell April I have no idea when we will be able to get back to Orlando, but I don't see any way that I will be at school on Monday. Please also call 407-xxx-xxxx and leave a message in the front office that I am stuck in the middle of the ocean and will not be at school on Monday.
Seth, Heather, Mark - just a note to let you know that we have no idea what's going on, but we love you and will be in touch with you as soon as we can.
We'll check back periodically. Thanks for trying to help us. I guess we need flight arrangements from San Juan to Orlando, but we still don't know when we will be arriving in San Juan.
Guess that's why they call the "The FUN Ship"
Cindy and Michael Rubin
Update: My brother, Mark, called Carnival, and the problem has something to do with the ship's propulsion unit or something. Bascially, the ship is moving rrrreeeeaaaallllyyyy sssslllloooowwww. Because of it, they will miss their flight home and not sure whether they're tickets are any good. So far, this is as much as we know.
