Ugh...

I've still been feeling a bit sick the last week; I've been more tired than usual and my stomach has been upset. I guess it is a different type of PMS, since I have not been that bitchy or moody, and I haven't had any bad cramps as I would normally have, though I did have a headache last night.

Anyhow...so, the weekend was pretty ok, but busy. Friday night we saw Russian Ark at the Enzian. It was an amazing film, but a bad "movie", as there was little plot to speak of. The review of the film is posted

Saturday morning, I dropped my car off at the mechanic to have some work done before we leave for vacation tomorrow. Chas and I ran around and did a few errands while we waited: got him some new clothes, had lunch, went to a local mac bored...erm, board of directors meeting (lucky I had my amusement kit with my from the mechanics-book, word find, and gameboy!), went to visit his dad in the hospital, stopped at a few stores on the way to a client's house, picked up my car, and then went home. I made a fabulous dinner which Chas slept through.

Sunday, we slept in a little, ran a few more small errands, then went to see Chas's dad again, then my grandad, and after that we went out to dinner with my family for Father's Day.

Today, I have been having really bad calls. I just wish they'd go away...wishing hard. My bra is also bothering me because it feels too tight. Down with the bra, down!!! ;p I'm also upset that my cd player, the one I have been raving on about and getting excited about, has not yet arrived (as far as I know). There was some apparent mix up with addresses and the initial order was canceled. It was supposed to have been reordered last week and shipped express. The thing is, is that it was ordered as an early birthday present so we'd would have something to listen to on the drive to the panhandle since my tape player broke, but we leave tomorrow afternoon and that leaves us little time to install it if it comes. If it doesn't come today or tomorrow, we won't be home to receive it and I would *hate* for it to be returned because we weren't there to receive it. It's very frustrating. Grrr...

Well, my break is here, so I will go eat my nutty bar. Mmmm...

I'm replying here because I'm don't want most of the people that listen to the show that I sorta run a girlie site (www.girlnoir.com (http://www.girlnoir.com)). I'm aways looking for models for it. I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing you'd be interested in, that's why I didn't respond sooner.

I have been out of LJ for a long time! Wow! About the comment you left on my journal: "how fine does the ink run?" You'd be surprised to know that it is not as fine as it should. The pen is "fine point" but the ink flow is not thin. I like the colors though...I'm a color freak. =) Well, got major catching up to do, c-ya!
