So, if someone likes (and sometimes wears) patchouli, often wears Birks, and uses reusable menstrual products (cloth pads, etc), does that make them a hippie, even if they don't dress like the stereotyped hippie?

I say it just makes you a environmentally conscious, aroma connoisseur, with a preference to leather sandals. Do hippies even exist any more?
