I am trying to think of what to do tonight for dinner, and what to do afterward. We could watch a dvd or something, but we always do that. We could go out, but where to go that won't cost a lot? Hmmm...lots to think about.
Last night though, Chas and I met up with a guy I met online from my Tears For Fears newsgroup. He is visiting his girlfriend for the week. Apparently, her family just moved here a few weeks ago from Chattanooga. We went to the Enzian's "Popcorn Flicks" viewing of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in Central Park on Park Avenue. Lucky for us, it did not rain, but it was rather humid. As an old childhood favorite of many people, it was a fairly crowded, but we did manage to find spots on the grass for our chairs. Afterward, we decided to head over to Cold Stone for some ice cream but they were closed, so we crossed the street and went into Borders instead, where I had my yummy chai, though I opted for the lower caffeine variety. I mixed half and half since it was getting late and I did not want to be up all night from caffeine, but I wanted more flavor than plain decaf.
Got kicked out shortly after though, as the cafe was closing, and our friends had to leave at 11:00 anyways. Had a nice hot bath when I got in, and rinsed all the stickiness from myself in fragrant bubbles.
I don't know what plans the weekend will have for us, but I see myself doing laundry. Blech! Maybe I will go swimming, too. It is warm enough and we have never used the pool in our apartment complex in the 2 years we have been there. Maybe I'll invite Kristen and los kiddos.
Ah, well, I am going to do nothing now, until I get another call. Or go home, whichever comes first.
