Chas left early this morning, around 6. Before he left, he came to my side of the bed to say goodbye. I don't know if I remember everything he said, as I was sleepy. When I heard the front door close, I went to the bedroom window, which looks onto the parking lot, and watched him drive off. And then I cried. I forced myself back into bed and gripped Edward the Bear tight as I could. I think he'll be coming with me this weekend.
