Well, it got off to a late start, but Chas and I had a lovely day indeed. Once we got off our tushes, we went out to run a few errands and made our way to Park Avenue for a short bit. After the brief visit to Park Avenue, we headed off to get a late lunch, but as we turned the corner, a train was coming by, and blocked us from crossing the road...and then it stopped. During this time, the driver of a van a few cars ahead of us decides she doesn't want to wait and starts to back up and is driving up on to the curb/sidewalk and getting a lot of attention from the few cars there and these old ladies from Deland, who were waiting for the next train to come. She eventually succeeds. Once we realized the train wasn't going anywhere for a while, we turned off the car and had the windows down, because the weather outside was gorgeous today, and we just cuddled while we waited. Once the train began moving, we were off to a cheap, but tasty late lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Mmmm. Came home after that, and cuddled and spent more quality time together, and eventually had a short nap. Once we got up, we headed to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Yeah, we've been there before, but some other expenses cropped up, so we did not have as much money for dinner as we had hoped, and we planned it just right for our dinner tonight. When they brought out the cheesecake for dessert, they had written "Happy Anniversary to you" in chocolate around the rim of the plate. We walked across the plaza to the Borders and mozied around a little bit, and now we are home. Tomorrow is my allergy testing, but we are going to try and get some frozen custard afterward, to make up for it...even though the only place we know of is across town. But it is near the Apple Store. :)
I think we are going to watch some Doctor Who, in honor of our 2nd date, where he showed me a story for the first time, and said if I liked it he would marry me. I liked it.

Perfect Day
Just a perfect day,
Drink Sangria in the park,
And then later, when it gets dark,
We go home.
Just a perfect day,
Feed animals in the zoo
Then later, a movie, too,
And then home.
Oh it's such a perfect day,
I'm glad I spent it with you.
Oh such a perfect day,
You just keep me hanging on,
You just keep me hanging on.
Just a perfect day,
Problems all left alone,
Weekenders on our own.
It's such fun.
Just a perfect day,
You made me forget myself.
I thought I was someone else,
Someone good.
Oh it's such a perfect day,
I'm glad I spent it with you.
Oh such a perfect day,
You just keep me hanging on,
You just keep me hanging on.
You're going to reap just what you sow,
You're going to reap just what you sow,
You're going to reap just what you sow,
You're going to reap just what you sow...
