I tend to be very patient with people when they are not as computer literate as others, such as myself. If they were, I would not have a job, but this guy just does not know how to speak to me regarding his problem. Why can people not articulute their problems to me on the phone? I can't help you when you can't explain things to me over the phone. Remember, I cannot see what you are doing, so you have to tell me in order for me to help you. If I told the doctor I didn't feel well, but couldn't tell him what symptoms I was having or why I did not feel well, he would not be able to diagnose the problem, nor provide a means of correcting it. So if I need to know whether you are in webmail or client mail (ie Outlook Express, Netscape, Mail, etc.) I need to know so I can use my defined scope of support and know how to guide you to fix the problem otherwise I am flying blindly.
Ahhh, just a little work-related frustration. My amaretto cappuccino is fixing that now. :)
Oh yeah, btw, I really, truly hate the call flow charts! They are making my life miserable at work. I praise the SNET calls where I don't have to use those bloody charts.
